Jeff Crowe started fencing in 1983, and studied for 4 years under Monem Abdel Salem, the present coach at the Air Force Academy. He began coaching in 1993, and Renaissance Fencer's Club was started in 1995, as an outgrowth to the beginning fencing classes he had taught since the late 80's.

Jonathan Carr has been fencing competitively for over 20 years, and coaching fencing since 1997. He received his certification to teach fencing in 1998 with the United States Fencing Association. He started his own fencing school on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, where he taught youth and adult fencing students. His students qualified for the Junior Olympic Fencing Championships from 2002-2005 and won several state championships. His program won a program excellence award from the Mississippi Gulf Coast Boys and Girls Club.
Along with coaching and teaching fencing Mr. Carr was Commissioner of Fencing for the State Games of Mississippi from 2000-2005 and Chairman of the Louisiana Division of the US Fencing Association from 2001-2004.
Mr. Carr is dedicated to encouraging physical and mental competence in each student and promoting physical activity, fun, sportsmanship and good health. He is committed to encouraging the philosophy of pursuing excellence with honor.
Mr. Carr is available for private lessons, classes, clinics and demonstrations.
